Most games in the download section will be tested in ZETA 1.2/1.21 and 1.5 (older versions could work but we don't test them on those installations due to older libraries etc).

For those not running ZETA 1.5 there is a problem installing the packages as they are created with MakeMe in ZETA 1.5 (with uses different Icons then the ones in earlier versions).

Installing this will fix the issue and you'll be able to install the packages.

Use the link below to install the fix.

Begasus 2007-03-25 19:10:57 I'll try to reproduce the error here when I do a clean 1.21 install (don't have one at hand as I just updated that to 1.5) ;) I'll let you know how it turns out, but seeing it's only one with the problem it could be due to some other factor. If in any case there are other problems I rather you would refer them to the forum, so other people can share in the ideas/problem that get fixed ...

Thanks Begasus. Here's the InstallWizard.dbg;

So ... just did a clean install off 1.21 here ... can't find any problem with with the preinstall script.

Could you try to expand it manually or is that also giving you problems?

Hi Begasus,

Sorry for not replying sooner, been distracted

I had;
downloaded more than once
unzipped manually (had to, the auto method wouldn't tell me what was unzipped or where)

So I did a clean install of 1.21 & downloaded again but got the same result.

Best wishes to all!

Question - once I have unzipped preinstall.zip am I supposed to run InstallWizard ('cause that's what I am doing & that's when I get the error) or is InstallWizard called automatically when I install a .zpkg file.

Thanks.

Once the zip is extracted there is no need to call for the InstallWizzard, that is done by the .zpkg file itself.

PS. if you manualy extract the zip make sure it's extracted to /boot.
