Lately we have had some questions in regard to ZETA, I wouldn't expect otherwise ... but as yellowTAB and Magnussoft ceased/dropped the development of ZETA and people that have a ZETA version running are left without support now, theres little anyone can do.

In the BeOS related channels on freenode (IRC) you'll find quit a number of people that still work with ZETA (amongst me) and that are more then willing to provide you with some help when needed. Note that we are not a support team for an OS that has no actual activities anymore, we can only help out with the little things we know.

Some of you who purchased ZETA in the last year will probly have seen that you can't call a support center anymore ... little or nothing to be done there, we are on our own in this ...

Haiku has grown tremendusly in the last  year and is nearing a stage that it can be used to compile, run and check applications on, I'm running it as a autotools generator amongst other things and can say that I'm overall pleased with the progression it's made that last year.

Thus .. if you still plan on purchasing ZETA from one or the other make sure you inform that .. if needed you get the dvd-box with serial number included (otherwise it could very well be that you purchase an illigal copy ... wouldn't want to do that!!).

Otherwise ... go ahead and give Haiku a go ... you'd be amazed with it!! ;)
