Haiku games for gcc2 PDF Print

With the release of Haiku's alpha 1 we now have an OS that we can build up against. The first release gave us a gcc2 hybrid meaning that we also can make use of a gcc4 compiler in the system, but beware, compiling gcc4 binairies in a gcc2 enviroment can lead to unexpected errors and crashes so it best to use the alpha or a full gcc4 release (gcc4 won't be officialy distributed for some time but there are some places that you can download a iso. I'll try to make a unofficial iso in the future that can be used for those and a LibPak so you can play your favorite games in a full gcc4 enviroment (with that there will be no real support and as always "use at your own risk" ... but then .... we are used to live there. ;)

Saying that ... I put an update for TuxPaint, TuxMath and BlobWars online up to the latest version and build on the alpha, so go grab those and while your at it ... grab the SDLGameLibs from HaikuPorts at BeBits and a second one here (was missing some libraries so I've made an archive containing the libraries I was missing in the one from HaikuPorts.

ScummVM is nearing it's 1.0.0 release in a short while and some new engines have been added to the default release, Cruise and Tinsel will be available with the upcomming version ... so now you can play your lovely games like Discworld in ScummVM (be sure to check in the near future for the release!)
