Freeciv
is a free turn-based multiplayer strategy game, in which each player
becomes the leader of a civilization, fighting to obtain the ultimate
goal:
To become the greatest civilization.
Players of the Civilization® series by Microprose® should feel
at home, since one aim of Freeciv is to have optional modes (called
rulesets) with compatible rules.
Freeciv is maintained by an international team of coders and
enthusiasts, and is easily one of the most fun and addictive network
games out there!
That also means it has very extensive multilanguage support, something rare in games.
Running on ZETA (should run on BONE also due to the use of the network client - not supported by libnet in plain R5).
Discuss in the forum.
Updatad to 2.1.3

Kobo Deluxe is an enhanced version of Akira Higuchi's game
XKobo
for Un*x systems with X11. Kobo Deluxe adds sound, smoother animation, high resolution support,
OpenGL
acceleration (optional), an intuitive menu driven user interface, joystick support and other features.
Recent versions also add a number of alternative skill levels with slightly modernized gameplay.
Kobo Deluxe uses
SDL
for graphics, sound and input, which makes it possible to build and run the game on pretty much anything.
Now updated and running on BeOS/ZETA and Haiku, extract to /boot.

Fish Fillets NG is strictly a puzzle game. The goal in every of the
seventy levels is always the same: find a safe way out. The fish utter
witty remarks about their surroundings, the various inhabitants of
their underwater realm quarrel among themselves or comment on the
efforts of your fish. The whole game is accompanied by quiet,
comforting music.
Download the data files also (99) MB from the Fish Filets site (unzip and rename the folder fillets-ng, then move the folder to ./Fillets/share/games/)

Running on ZETA and BeOS R5 (Haiku is missing some possix items
probably to be able to run this game - maybe one of the developers can
have a peek into getting this great game to run under Haiku *hint*) ;)
Enjoy this great mindbreaking game (there is a walkthrough on the net <eg>).
